雷富民

雷富民，生于1965年2月，博士，研究员，动物进化与系统动物学院重点实验室副主任。1990年毕业于陕西师范大学生物系，获理学学士、硕士学位。1998年10月- 2000年2月，博士后，访问美国密西根大学、华盛顿大学和美国加州博物馆。科学院战略先导课题、国家基金委重点项目、重大国际合作、国家杰出青年基金。联合负责推动全球鸟类基因组重大研究（ B10K ）计划。现任国际鸟类学会副主席，中国鸟类学会理事长。目前是Avian Research , Current Zoology , Journal of Biogeography , Journal of Ornithology , Zoological Systematics等10个国际学术期刊副总编、主编或编委。

主要研究方向及内容

以分子、形态、行为等整合方法探讨鸟类物种系统演化与分类地位；基于群体基因组学方法探讨物种谱系结构和谱系地理学过程；结合物种系统演化与生态位分化解析物种多样性格局、特有化及其形成动因；以比较基因组学方法探讨鸟类对特殊环境的适应性进化；结合鸟类卫星追踪的迁徙行为探讨禽流感溯源与病源生态。
